Members of Border Guard Bangladesh (BGB) recovered 500 grams of heroin from Shibganj frontier in the district last night.
BGB said, acting on a tip off, a patrol team of BGB from Sonamasjid border out post conducted a raid in Tahakhana area under Shibganj upazila in the district about 100yards inside Bangladesh territory from border pillar No. 185 at around 8-40 pm and found the heroin in an abandoned condition.
