Police have recovered the body of the domestic help of Bangladesh Cricket Board chief selector Mohammad Akram Khan from nearby the house of the former cricketer in the city.
The deceased is--Shahida Akter, 25, said Kaful Police Station OC Hafizur Rahman.
He said: "Being informed that the body of a woman has been seen lying on the backyard of a house in the capital’s Mohakhali DOHS area, a team of police rushed in and found that the body was of Akram Khan's domestic help."
"The body was recovered from a house just beside the house of the former cricketer around 11pm on Sunday," he added.
Asked about the incident, he further said:" We cannot say anything right now without proper investigation. Details can be known once the autopsy report is available."
"However, during primary investigation, police suspected that either she might have jumped off the building or someone pushed her from the rooftop," he added.
Further details regarding the matter couldn’t be known till writing the news at midnight.
