A policeman, an assistant sub inspector was killed as a speeding truck strucked into his motorbike on Sunday morning.
The deceased was Rulul Amin, 33, an of Patnitola police station.
Palash Chandra Dev, officer-in-charge of Patnitola police station said, the accident occurred around 10: 30 am when the truck hit the motorbike on Nazipur-Sapahar Road in Chakabdal Kunchipukur area, leaving him dead on the spot.
The body was sent to Sadar hospital morgue for autopsy, a case was filed in this connection, he said.
