Miscreants carried out an attack on the Tangail residence of Abdul Kader Siddiqui Bir Uttam, president of the Krishak Sramik Janata League, in the middle of the night.
During the incident, window panes of the house and two of his vehicles were vandalized.
According to household staff, the attack took place shortly after midnight on Saturday at “Sonar Bangla,” Kader Siddiqui’s residence on Kazi Nazrul Road in Tangail town.
They said a group of assailants first hurled bricks and stones to smash the window panes. Later, using a ladder, they climbed over the main gate and entered the compound, where they vandalized two cars used by Kader Siddiqui. As neighbors rushed to the scene, the attackers fled.
