Next parliamentary polls to be held as per constitution: Law Minister

Law, Justice and Parliamentary Affairs Minister Advocate Anisul Huq, on Friday said the next general election would be held as per the Bangladeshi constitution.

He said this while replying to a question of journalists at Akhaura railway station of the Brahmanbaria district on Friday.

"Bangladesh has a constitution in which a complete guideline for holding national election has been written. Next parliament election would be held as per the existing constitution," he stated.

He also came up with a remark that the ruling party Awami League established democracy in Bangladesh.
