After a two-hour disruption caused by a fallen tree on the railway line in the Kalsima area of Brahmanbaria, train services between Dhaka, Chattogram, and Sylhet resumed on Friday night.
A recovery team from the Railway Department removed the tree that had obstructed the rail line, allowing train services to resume their regular schedule at 9:00 pm on Friday.
Jashim Uddin, station master at Brahmanbaria Railway Station, said the team worked for nearly two hours to clear the tracks, ensuring the swift restoration of normal train operations. Subsequently, trains that had been held back were released to their respective destinations.
Earlier, a tree had fallen onto the railway line in the Kalsima area of Brahmanbaria Sadar Upazila, snapping rail communications between Dhaka, Chittagong, and Sylhet around 7:00 pm on Friday.
