At least three people were killed and four others injured in a collision between a truck and an easybike in Dumuria upazila of Khulna on Monday morning.
The accident took place around 9am in the Jilerdanga area, said Dumuria Police Station officer-in-charge (OC) Md Masud Rana.
He said two people died on the spot. On receiving information, a unit from the Dumuria Fire Station rushed to the scene and began rescue operations.
The injured were taken to Khulna Medical College Hospital, where the condition of one was reported to be critical.
Police could not immediately confirm the identities of the victims.
