An unidentified body of a man recovered from footpath near Bangladesh Film Development Corporation in Dhaka this morning.
The identity of the deceased could not be known immediately.
Rahmatullah Roni, Sub-inspector of Hatirjheel Police Station said on information, police found the man dead in the streets around 10:00am.
He was taken to Dhaka Medical College Hospital where doctors declared him dead around he added.
The body was sent to the hospital morgue for autopsy.
