Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina inaugurated the first ever metro rail service in the capital.
The prime minister will take the first official ride of the Metro Rail from Diabari of Uttara to Agargaon after buying a ticket with over 200 people for its maiden trip.
Those who will join the trip with the premier includes war-wounded freedom fighters, teachers, students, imams, members of ethnic groups, garment workers, rickshaw pullers, farmers, labourers, metro rail workers, law enforcement officers, journalists, diplomats and others.
