Today at 6:00 PM, BNP will meet with Professor Muhammad Yunus, the Chief Adviser of the Interim Government, at the Jamuna State Guesthouse.
The meeting aims to discuss the current political situation and other important issues.
According to sources from the BNP, the party plans to express its concerns about the ongoing political challenges during the discussion.
The BNP will also use the opportunity to reassure the Chief Adviser that it will continue supporting the Interim Government.
Another important topic that may come up is the roadmap for the upcoming elections.
BNP`s Standing Committee members, including Khandaker Mosharraf Hossain, Nazrul Islam Khan, and Salahuddin Ahmed, will be part of the meeting.
Before this, on Sunday, BNP held a meeting with the Election Commission (EC) to discuss the preparations for the upcoming national parliamentary election.
A three-member delegation from BNP, led by Nazrul Islam Khan, visited the Election Bhaban in Agargaon in the afternoon.
This meeting with the Election Commission is the first since the new body, led by A.M.M. Nasiruddin, took office on November 21.
BNP is pushing for the national parliamentary election to be held mid-year and has been working to gather public support for the swift announcement of the election roadmap.
To help build momentum, the party`s National Standing Committee has decided to hold rallies in 64 districts across the country.
