The Bangladesh Nationalist Party (BNP) is set to organise a rally in front of its Nayapaltan central office in the capital at 2:00 pm on Wednesday -- the first of its kind since the fall of the Awami League-led government.
BNP Acting Chairman Tarique Rahman will address the rally as the chief guest, said a party press release issued on Tuesday.
Earlier in the day, BNP`s Standing Committee held a meeting at the party chairperson`s office in Gulshan, following which Mirza Fakhrul addressed a press conference.
He urged the President to form an interim government by Tuesday, highlighting the urgency of the matter.
