Around 10 leaders and activists from the Bangladesh Chhatra League held a flash procession in front of Madhur Canteen at Dhaka University, wearing black caps and masks.
A 47-second video of the event has quickly gained traction on social media, showing the group beginning their march from Madhur Canteen and moving toward the Central Mosque.
The protesters chanted various slogans, including “Sheikh Hasina will come, Bangladesh will smile,” “Remove Yunus, Save the Nation, Bangabandhu’s Bangladesh,” and “Mujib, we see you in the red and green flag.”
This event marked the first public demonstration by Chhatra League members at Dhaka University following the ousting of the Awami League regime on August 5.
