Law Minister Anisul Huq has claimed the government does not interfere in the matters of the court.
The minister came up with the remark in responding to the question about the bail of BNP leaders Mirza Fakhrul Islam Alamgir and Mirza Abbas at Akhaura Railway Station in Brahmanbaria on Friday.
“The government does not interfere in the matters of the court. I talked to the attorney general and he said there was a problem in bail process, so he filed an appeal petition for suspension of bail of BNP leaders Mirza Fakhrul Islam Alamgir and Mirza Abbas”, the minister said.
He also said that the court is taking all decisions independently.
