BNP Chairperson Begum Khaleda Zia has issued a strong call for the people of Bangladesh to unite and use all their strength to build a democratic country. 

Speaking virtually from London, where she is currently undergoing medical treatment, she emphasized the need for collective effort and solidarity to achieve this goal.

Addressing an extended meeting of the Bangladesh Nationalist Party (BNP) today, Thursday afternoon, Khaleda Zia urged her party members and the public to work together. 

"We must all work together. The accomplices of fascists are still conspiring," she said, stressing the importance of unity. 

She added, "Let us put all our strength into building a democratic Bangladesh. Let us make our unity even stronger."

She also called for strengthening the BNP, urging the people to come together and involve themselves in leading movements, struggles, and governance just as they have done in the past. 

"Let us strengthen the Bangladesh Nationalist Party (BNP) by involving the people, just as we have done before, so that we can lead movements, struggles, and governance," she stated.

In her speech, Khaleda Zia further made a heartfelt appeal to the youth and the general public, especially students. 

"I call upon all to come together in brotherhood and turn Bangladesh into a livable and prosperous nation," she said.

The extended meeting of BNP kicked off earlier at around 11 AM at the National Parliament building’s LD Hall. 

The meeting also featured a virtual speech from the party‍‍`s Acting Chairperson, Tarique Rahman.
