Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina said in a special interview with CNN TV, "I think that the general people are suffering. The entire world should unite to put an end to the war in Ukraine."
The Prime Minister urges that the world should unite and needs to take strong steps to stop the war in Ukraine. This ongoing war has caused the suffering of common people worldwide.
The PM stated her point of view regarding the war, "We believe in the peaceful solution of any problem. Any dispute can be resolved through discussion. We never support any kind of aggression or any conflict." She urged the entire world to get together to make efforts to stop the war in Ukraine.
In an interview conducted by famous Journalist Richard Quest, Sheikh Hasina answered many questions about the war in Ukraine, Bangladesh's relationship with China, the death trap created by China through financing and the Rohingya issue.
United States thinks that China is getting closer to Bangladesh. Sheikh Hasina responded to that saying, "Bangladesh's close relations are increasing with every country that supports her country's development efforts".
She added, "China is the development partner of Bangladesh. They are investing and doing some construction works, that's the bottom line". The PM emphasized of us not being dependent on anyone.
On the issue of the replacement of Rohingyas to Myanmar, PM said that, "We have called on the international community to persuade Myanmar to take back its citizens. Not only that, we have also started discussion with Myanmar. Unfortunately, they are not responding properly".
