For the formation of the Election Commission, appointment of the Chief Election Commissioner and other Election Commissioners, the Search Committee will hold talks with eight senior journalists on Tuesday.
The meeting will be held at 4:00 pm today at the Supreme Court Judges Lounge.
The Cabinet Division has already invited eight senior journalists to attend the meeting. The invitation letters signed by Shafiul Azim, the joint secretary of the cabinet, were sent on Monday.
The invited journalists are: Bangladesh Daily Editor Naeem Nizam, New Age Editor Nurul Kabir, Mashranga Television Managing Director Anjan Chowdhury, Business Standard Editor Inam Ahmed Chowdhury, Dhaka Tribune Editor Zafar Sobhan, Channel I News Head Shykh Siraj, Journalist Leader Manjurul Ahsan Shawkat Mahmood.
