Popular Bangladeshi actor, producer and director Ananta Jalil is asked to star in a racing film which will be a Norway, China and Pakistan co-production. The film has a working title of ‘The Last Hope.’ The actor confirmed the news to several news outlets.
He told the press that he knew the Norwegian director of the film for a long time. He offered Ananta the role. The filmmaker is a Norwegian citizen but was born in Pakistan. Famous actors and producers from three countries have come together to make this project possible.
Ananta also said the director is fond of Bangladesh and its culture so he decided to offer Ananta to be a part of the project.
The film will star popular Pakistani actor Mahira Khan (who played a central role with Shah Rukh Khan in the Bollywood film ‘Raees’). ‘The Last Hope’ will also star famous actors from Norway, Pakistan and China.
Ananta has yet to give his final decision about the film.
The film will start production after the pandemic situation gets a bit better.
Ananta has also finished the production of the high budget action flick called ‘Din-The Day.’ The project was a Bangladesh and Iran co-production.
He is currently also working on another film called ‘Netri-The Leader.’
Both of his last two films star his wife Barsha alongside him.
