After receiving massive popularity for his performance in the Indian film Dictionary, renowned Bangladeshi actor Mosharraf Karim was seen in the teaser of his first Hoichoi series. The crime web series titled 'Mohanagar' released its first teaser on Friday (June 11). The 40-second-long video immediately went viral on Facebook and other social media platforms.
Karim will play the role of a police officer named Harun in the upcoming series. Hoichoi, the Indian OTT platform producing this project, has not announced any official release dates yet. The teaser mentioned official release dates will soon be published along with the full trailer.
'Mohanagar' is directed by Bangladeshi writer, director Ashfaque Nipun who is known for directing 'Aynabaji Original Series' (2017), 'Ei Shohore' (2019) and 'Koshtoneer' (2021).
The eight-episode-long web series will also star Shamol Mawla, Zakia Bari Mamo, Khairul Bashar, Lutfur Rahman George and many others in major roles.
In recent times, veteran actor Mosharraf Karim has received critical acclaim for his role in the Indian film 'Dictionary.' The Bratya Basu helmed film received numerous awards and Karim’s performance was praised by the Indian audience and film critics.
