The Bangladesh National Cricket Team has announced their 18-man squad for the upcoming two match Test-series against West Indies. The team is favouring two uncapped players in the squad- Hasan Mahmud and Yasir Ali Chowdhury. Meanwhile Shakib Al Hasan has recovered from his groin injury that he picked up in the final ODI.
The Tigers hasn’t played a test since February 2020, when they hosted Zimbabwe in Dhaka. The first game will start from 3rd February at Chattogram, moving to Dhaka for the final Test, beginning on 11th February.
After the imposing performance in the ODI, which Bangladesh captured for a 3-0 whitewash, the players will be boosted by the confidence and aiming for a similar triumph.
