Paris Saint-Germain have added another attacking option to their squad, signing Belgian winger Mika Godts from Ajax on a five-year deal, the French club confirmed Saturday.
The 21-year-old arrives after a standout season in the Dutch league, where he scored 17 goals and supplied 12 assists to win the Young Player of the Year award.
Ajax said the transfer is worth 55 million euros ($64 million), including bonuses.
Godts joined Ajax in 2023 after developing through the academy at Belgian club Genk. He made 115 appearances for Ajax across all competitions, contributing 54 goals and assists.
He has also represented Belgium twice at senior level, although he was not selected for the country`s World Cup squad.
“I feel incredibly proud to be joining one of the best clubs in the world. I can`t wait to pull on this shirt and experience the Parc des Princes and its supporters,” Godts said in a statement published on PSG’s website.
PSG, the reigning Ligue 1 champions, will face French Cup winners Lens in the Champions` Trophy on Sunday. Their league title defence begins next weekend against Rennes.
