Bangladesh sealed the five-match bilateral women‍‍`s kabaddi series with a game to spare after defeating Nepal 34-22 in the fourth Test at the National Kabaddi Stadium in Dhaka on Tuesday.

The victory gave the hosts an unassailable 3-1 lead in the series, with only the fifth and final match remaining.

Nepal, needing a win to keep the series alive, made a strong start and took an early 8-4 lead through aggressive attacking play. Bangladesh, however, gradually fought back by collecting crucial bonus points before tightening their defence and launching a series of successful raids.

The hosts overturned the deficit to take a narrow 13-11 lead into the halftime break.

Bangladesh maintained the momentum after the restart and frustrated Nepal with disciplined defending and well-executed attacks. A decisive super tackle stretched the lead to 21-15 before Meby Chakma produced a superb super raid to add three more points and put Bangladesh firmly in control.

The home side later forced an all-out, widening the gap and effectively ending Nepal‍‍`s hopes of a comeback. Bangladesh comfortably saw out the match to secure a convincing 34-22 victory and wrap up the series.

Brishty Biswas was named player of the match for her outstanding performance.

The fifth and final Test of the series will be played at the same venue on Thursday.
