The ODI batting ranking of Bangladesh’s consistent performer in the ongoing ICC World Cup Mahmudullah Riyad moved up by one step.
As per fresh ICC men’s batting rankings published recently, Bangladeshi all- rounder Riyad improved his ranking one step up to settle for the 49th place securing 546 rating points.
In a batting debacle of Bangladesh in the ongoing ICC World Cup, Riyad displayed a consistent batting performance scoring 274 runs in five innings of six matches with an average of 68.50, featuring one century and a half century.
Among the other Bangladeshi batters, the rating of former captain Mushfiqur Rahim went down by four steps to settle for the 31st, ranking of captain Shakib Al Hasan’s remained at the 46th, ranking of former captain Tamim Iqbal went down by two steps to settle for the 54th while the ranking of Najmul Hossain Shanto, also went down by two steps to settle for the 78th..
However, Pakistani captain Babar Azam tops the ODI batting list with 818 points, Shubman Gill of India is in the 2nd slot with 816 rating points while Quinton De Kock of South Africa is in the 3rd place with 765 points.
Shaheen Afridi of Pakistan topped the ODI bowling ranking with 673 rating points while Bangladesh’s captain Shakib Al Hasan topped the ODI all-rounder list with 316 rating points.
In the ODI team list, India topped the list with 119 rating points while Bangladesh ranked the 8th with 89 rating points.
