The Bangladesh Cricket Board (BCB) is all set to announce the squad of the national team for the T20 World Cup on Wednesday, a little over a month before the largest edition of the shorter format of the game to be held in Australia.
Tigers may lose a few players, including a senior one, who performed poorly in the just-finished Asia Cup where they they lost both the matches in the group stage— one to Afghanistan and another to Sri Lanka.
Meanwhile, there has been some debate over the performance of Mahmudullah Riyad, one of the senior most players in the Bangladesh side, who has been reprersenting the nation since 2007.
He scored just 52 runs at 106.12 strike-rate in the Asia Cup, having made just 99 runs in six T20s earlier this year.
