Get ready, book lovers! The Amar Ekushey Book Fair is finally here, set to kick off on February 1st.

The grand opening will take place at 3:00 PM, with Dr. Muhammad Yunus, the Chief Advisor of the Interim Government, officially inaugurating the event.

This year’s fair will focus on the theme “July Mass Uprising and the Creation of a New Bangladesh,” reflecting an important chapter in the nation‍‍`s history.

In a press conference held on Thursday, January 30th, at 11:00 AM, details of the upcoming fair were shared.

The event took place at the Abdul Karim Sahitya Bisharad Auditorium of Bangla Academy.

During the conference, Sayed Amin, the Secretary of the Book Fair Committee, read out a statement about the event’s layout.

He confirmed that this year‍‍`s fair would maintain the same layout as last year, with a few structural changes.

For instance, due to the positioning of the metro rail station, the outer pathway of the fair has been shifted closer to the Mandir Gate.

To make it easier for visitors, there will be four entry and exit points this time, at TSC, Doel Chattar, MRT Basing Plant, and the Engineering Institution.

Rest assured, essential facilities like prayer spaces, washrooms, and other services will continue to be available throughout the fair.

So, gear up for the book lover‍‍`s paradise and make sure to visit the fair starting from February 1.
