The countrymen are benefiting from Awami League's (AL) constant efforts to advance national welfare, according to the pledge made to the people, the Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina stated on Saturday.
"This is the reality," she continued, "AL placed its electoral pledges before every election and it always kept its election promises.
Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina, also the President of the ruling AL, came up with her remark while addressing the joint meeting of the AL National Committee, Central Working committee and Advisory council at her official residence Gonobhaban.
She said that in order to carry out the plans in accordance with the pledges given to the people before parliamentary polls, the national budget was always created bearing in mind of it (election manifesto).
