BNP Vice-Chairman Advocate Khandaker Mahbub Hossain died at then age of 84 at a hospital in Dhaka on Saturday night.
He was on life support since Wednesday and breathed his last around 10:40pm, according to media reports.
Former vice-president of the Bangladesh Bar Council and president of the Supreme Court Bar Association, Mahbub was one of the lawyers of BNP Chairperson Khaleda Zia.
