China-Bangladesh came together in a colorful cultural evening

A program titled China-Bangladesh Culture and Art Night was held at the National Theater Auditorium of Shilpakala Academy on Saturday evening. The event was organized by the Chinese Embassy in Dhaka under the auspices of Bangladesh Shilpakala Academy. 26 members of China's Kuming National Song and Dance Theater and artists of the academy presented various performances in the ceremony lasting about two hours.

The organization is one but the country is two. The two cultures of those two countries merged into a raft of cultures. The image of the relationship between the two friendly countries was published under the shelter of art. In such an event, the beauty of the dance of Chinese artists spread fascination in the eyes of art lovers. The unique characteristics of different ethnicities of the country were seen in the performance. The audience heard Chinese language songs along with the dance. There was also a dance performance titled Rohingya Nama presented by Bangladeshi artists depicting the plight of the forcibly displaced Rohingya people. A varied presentation by Shilpakala Academy's acrobatic troupe adds variety to the event.

The performance was preceded by a short discussion. Chinese Ambassador Yao Wen, Director General of Shilpakala Academy Liaquat Ali Lucky, Culture Secretary Abul Mansoor and Foreign Secretary (West) Sabbir Ahmad Chowdhury spoke about the cultural history and heritage of the two countries.

During the discussion of the program, the speakers said that the culture of China and Bangladesh has a history of thousands of years. Through the exchange of traditional art and culture, the friendly relations between the two countries will further increase. Such cultural events are also very important in the development of state relations. There is no alternative to cultural practice in establishing global peace by stopping wars. Besides, there will be an opportunity to know each other's culture.
