Dry weather likely across Bangladesh

Tetulia once again recorded the country’s lowest temperature today at 11.1 degrees Celsius, according to the Bangladesh Meteorological Department (BMD), which has forecast generally dry weather with temporarily partly cloudy skies across most regions during the next 24 hours starting from 9:00 am.

The previous day, Tetulia—Bangladesh’s northernmost point—logged a minimum temperature of 11.7 degrees Celsius.

In its morning weather bulletin, the BMD said, “Weather may remain dry with temporarily partly cloudy skies over the country.” The forecast also mentioned the possibility of light fog in parts of the northeastern region during the early hours.

Night temperatures may fall slightly, while day temperatures are expected to remain almost unchanged, the bulletin added.

On Tuesday, the highest temperature recorded in the country was 31.0 degrees Celsius in Teknaf.

In Dhaka, the sun is expected to set at 5:11 pm today and rise at 6:27 am tomorrow.
