Dry weather likely across Bangladesh

The Bangladesh Meteorological Department (BMD) has predicted dry conditions accompanied by temporary partly cloudy skies across the country for the next 24 hours starting from 9am today.

"Weather may remain dry with temporary partly cloudy sky over the country," said a BMD bulletin this morning.

The forecast also indicates that light fog may form in some areas during the early morning hours.

According to the BMD, night and day temperatures are expected to remain nearly unchanged nationwide.

On Sunday, the highest temperature in the country was recorded at 31.3 degrees Celsius in Teknaf under the Chattogram division, while today’s lowest temperature was 10.4 degrees Celsius in Tetulia of Rangpur division.

In Dhaka, the sun is scheduled to set at 5:12pm today and rise at 6:29am tomorrow.
