Dry weather likely across Bangladesh

The Bangladesh Meteorological Department (BMD) has forecast that weather conditions across the country will remain generally dry, accompanied by temporary partly cloudy skies, over the next 24 hours starting from 9:00am today.

"Weather may remain dry with temporary partly cloudy sky over the country," said a weather bulletin issued by the Bangladesh Meteorological Department (BMD) this morning.

The bulletin further noted that light fog may form in some areas during the early hours of the morning.

According to the forecast, night temperatures may see a slight drop, while day temperatures are expected to remain nearly unchanged across the country.

On Tuesday, Teknaf recorded the highest temperature at 31.0 degrees Celsius, whereas Tetulia experienced the lowest, at 10.4 degrees Celsius today.

In Dhaka, sunset is expected at 5:12pm today, with sunrise scheduled for 6:30am tomorrow.
