The Bangladesh Meteorological Department (BMD) has forecast dry weather with a temporarily partly cloudy sky across the country.
According to a BMD bulletin issued this morning, the forecast—valid for the next 120 hours from 9:00 am today—said weather conditions may remain dry with temporary partly cloudy skies nationwide.
The bulletin noted that a mild cold wave is currently sweeping over the districts of Gopalganj, Chuadanga, and Panchagarh, and it may continue.
Light to moderate fog may form in different parts of the country during late night to morning hours, the BMD said.
Both night and day temperatures are expected to remain nearly unchanged across the country.
The lowest temperature recorded today was 9.8 degrees Celsius at Gopalganj in the Dhaka division, while the highest temperature recorded yesterday was 31.6 degrees Celsius at Teknaf in the Chattogram division.
In Dhaka, today’s sunset will be at 5:38 pm, while tomorrow’s sunrise is expected at 6:42 am.
