Dry weather likely across Bangladesh

The Bangladesh Meteorological Department has forecast dry weather with a temporarily partly cloudy sky across the country for the next 24 hours starting from 9:00 am today.

According to the forecast, night temperatures are expected to remain nearly unchanged, while daytime temperatures may rise slightly nationwide.

On Thursday, the highest temperature in the country was recorded at 35.0 degrees Celsius in Rangamati. Meanwhile, today’s lowest temperature was 11.5 degrees Celsius in Tetulia.

The department said there is no likelihood of rainfall during the forecast period as dry conditions are expected to persist.

In Dhaka, winds are blowing from the north to northwest at a speed of 6–12 kilometres per hour. The relative humidity in the capital was recorded at 87 percent at 6:00 am.

The sun will set in the capital at 5:56 pm today and rise at 6:28 am tomorrow.
