Dry weather likely across Bangladesh; temperatures may rise slightly

Bangladesh Meteorological Department (BMD) has forecast predominantly dry weather with occasional partly cloudy skies across the country over the next 24 hours starting from 9:00 am today.

According to the forecast, both daytime and nighttime temperatures are expected to rise slightly nationwide during this period.

In the last 24 hours, Teknaf recorded the highest temperature at 31.7 degrees Celsius. Meanwhile, Tetulia and Srimangal registered the lowest temperature at 11.5 degrees Celsius this morning.

In the capital Dhaka, winds were blowing from the west to northwest at a speed of 8–12 kilometres per hour. The city’s relative humidity was recorded at 73 percent at 6:00 am.

The sun will set in the capital at 5:54 pm today and rise at 6:30 am tomorrow.
