Massive grenade pile recovered in Satchori

On the confession of an accused, the Dhaka Metropolitan Police's (DMP) Counter Terrorism and Transnational Crime (CTTC) unit recovered 15 grenades, 25 booster and 510 bullets from Satchori National Park in Habiganj's Chunarughat upazila.

On Monday (December 27), CTTC unit head Md. Asaduzzaman disclosed the information in a media briefing at 4:00 pm

Earlier, RAB and BGB recovered a large quantity of ammunition from the same place. 

According to Md. Asaduzzaman, police arrested a man named Amit Tripura (25) with 1 pistol and 4 bullets from Jatrabari area of ​​Dhaka on Sunday night. 

Amit is a resident of Panchchari of Khagrachari. He told police he possessed a stockpile of weapons in addition to the ones he carried, he added.
