Horrific crime in Bogura: Two 6-year-olds allegedly raped, accused on the run

In a shocking and heart-wrenching incident, two 6-year-old children have allegedly been raped in Kahalu, Bogura. 

The accused, a day laborer named Nur Islam, is currently evading arrest after the crime came to light. 

The incident has left the local community in a state of outrage and disbelief.

According to the victims‍‍` family, the horrifying incident took place last Wednesday. 

The two children were playing in front of their house when Nur Islam, a resident of a local housing project, lured them to his home with the promise of food. 

Once inside, he allegedly raped the children. The next day, the traumatized children fell ill, prompting their family to seek help.

The matter was reported to the police on Friday night, and the victims were taken into custody for their safety. 

They were later sent to the Victim Support Center at Shaheed Ziaur Rahman Medical College Hospital for medical examinations. 

Meanwhile, the family has filed a formal case against Nur Islam, who has been on the run since the incident.

Abdul Hannan, the Officer-in-Charge (OC) of Kahalu Police Station, confirmed the details of the case. 

He stated that the police are actively working to locate and arrest the accused. 

"The family has filed a case against Nur Islam, and we are doing everything possible to bring him to justice," said OC Hannan.

This appalling incident has sparked widespread condemnation and calls for swift justice. 

The vulnerability of young children and the brazenness of the crime have left the community demanding stronger measures to protect children from such heinous acts.
