On Monday (January 24) evening locals found skeletons, and the skull of a human body from the forest dormitory area of Lawachara National Park in Moulvibazar.
Upon receiving information police reached the spot the recovered the human remains. At first the skeletons were spotted by a tea worker of Phulbari Tea Garden.
Inspector Sohail Rana of Kamalganj police station, confirmed the matter to the media.
Police said that the skeletons have been sent to Moulvibazar Sadar hospital.
Speaking in this connection, Madhabpur Union Parishad chairman Asid Ali said the skeleton belongs to his 50-year old sister who went missing six months ago.
In this regard, the police said that after a DNA test it will be revealed whether the skeleton is of Asid Ali's sister or not.
