Consumer price of LPG gas reduced by Tk 244. The price of 12 kg LPG has been reduced from Tk 1,422 to Tk 1,178. The new price will be effective from Sunday.
Bangladesh Energy Regulatory Commission (BERC) Chairman, Nurul Amin announced the new price in a press conference organized at the BERC office on Sunday (April, 2).
Earlier in March, BERC had reduced the price of 12 kg LPG cylinder from Tk 1,498 to Tk 1,422 by Tk 76.
The retail price of private LPG has been fixed at 98.17 Tk per kg including VAT at the consumer level. Besides, the retail price of private LPG supplied in liquid form in reticulated system has been fixed at Tk 94 per kg.
Besides, the price of autogas at the consumer level has been fixed at Tk 51.76 per liter without VAT and Tk 54.90 per liter with VAT.
Before that, the price of LPG 12 kg cylinder gas was increased from Tk 1,232 to Tk 1,498 in February.
