The Ministry of Primary and Mass Education has announced that neither the annual examination nor the year-end examination of primary schools will be held for the academic year 2021. Instead, students will be evaluated on the basis of class-tests.
Students of all primary-level classes will be assessed by their respective educational institutions through assignments and class-tests, and will be promoted to the next class.
Information and Public Relations Officer of the Ministry of Primary and Mass Education Mahbub Rahman Tuhin confirmed the matter to the media on Monday (November 8).
'The decision was taken at a meeting held last month (October 28)', he said.
