No one will be spared if connection is found in Cumilla incident, said Awami League general secretary Obaidul Quader.
The Road Transport and Bridges Minister warned of tougher action after the recovery of the holy Quran from a temple in Cumilla sparked violence on Wednesday (October 13).
“If anyone found involved in the incident, legal action must be taken. None will be spared,” the minister said.
State Minister for Religious Affairs Faridul Haque Khan said, befitting action will be taken under trial finding the miscreants.
Faridul Haque urged all to refrain from taking law in own hands.
Meanwhile, the religious affairs ministry directed the local administration to look into the matter. A notification issued by the ministry disclosed the matter.
The notification assures legal actions if anyone attempts to destroy the communal harmony.
