During the Eid holidays, there may be some relief from the present extreme weather due to the possibility of rain in at least four districts, including Dhaka, on April 21 and 22.
The Meteorological Department says that even if it rains in Sylhet, the intense heat in the capital may continue. Today the temperature may drop a bit but it will not reduce the heat.
Meteorologist of the Department of Meteorology, Md. Bajrul Rashid said that there is a possibility of rain in capital Dhaka in the next Friday and Saturday.
On Tuesday 7 am, the Meteorological Department announced the next 24-hour weather conditions for Dhaka and its surrounding areas. The temperature at six in the morning was 28.5 degrees Celsius. Yesterday the temperature in Dhaka was 38.1 degrees Celsius. Although the temperature has decreased but the heat is continuing.
"Sylhet experienced a little rain yesterday after 11 consecutive days without rain in this intense heat. But we have to wait at least three more days for rain in Dhaka", said Meteorologist Bajlur Rashid.
He said, 'There is a possibility of rain in the capital on Friday and Saturday. But it will not rain much. Temperature of Dhaka will remain unchanged today and tomorrow. This temperature can fluctuate between 38 degrees Celsius."
