The Bangladesh Energy Regulatory Commission (BERC) has announced a reduction in the price of liquefied petroleum gas (LPG) for consumers. The price per kilogram of LPG has been decreased from 116.08 Taka to 113.55 Taka, marking a reduction of 2.53 Taka per kilogram.
As a result, the price of a 12 kg LPG cylinder has been reduced by 30 Taka, bringing it down to 1,363 Taka.
The new prices were revealed today during a press conference at the BERC office and will be effective from 6 PM today.
Previously, in May, the price of a 12 kg LPG cylinder was set at 1,393 Taka. In April, it was priced at 1,442 Taka, and in March, the price was 1,482 Taka.
