Gold prices have gone up by Tk 1,750 per bhari (11.664 grams) in the local market.
The increased price will come into effect from Tuesday (April 12).
Bangladesh Jewellers’ Samity made the announcement on Monday.
As per new price, the quantity of a bhari (11.664 grams) of 22-carat gold the price increased to Tk 78,849.
