The government has re-fixed the official revenue fee for the export of raw jute at Taka 4 per bale with immediate effect.
According to a circular issued today by the Bangladesh Bank (BB), the decision was taken following a notification from the Ministry of Textiles and Jute dated April 27, 2026.
The circular issued by the Foreign Exchange Policy Department stated that the government revenue fee for raw jute exports has now been fixed at Taka 4 per bale.
The revised fee structure has come into effect immediately, the circular added.
Bangladesh Bank directed all Authorized Dealers (ADs) in foreign exchange to take necessary measures and inform the concerned parties accordingly.
