A mild earthquake was felt in Dhaka, Gazipur and several other parts of the country on Tuesday. The tremor was experienced around 11:41am.
The European-Mediterranean Seismological Centre (EMSC) confirmed the incident.
According to the EMSC, the earthquake measured 3.6 on the Richter scale, with a depth of 10 kilometres.
