Police on Sunday provided security at the family home of Abhijeet Dipke, founder of the satirical digital platform Cockroach Janta Party, in Maharashtra’s Chhatrapati Sambhajinagar district.
According to police officials, the protection was arranged to prevent crowd gathering around the residence.
Dipke’s family lives in the MIDC Waluj area of the district.
Authorities said officers were deployed at the house as a precautionary measure to maintain order and ensure the family’s safety.
