Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina announced that orders have been issued for the release of the recently detained general students who were held by the law enforcers countrywide during ongoing quota movement.
She vowed that every murder will be prosecuted.
Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina said this during a meeting with the central leaders of the Coordination Council of Professionals (Peshajibi Samannay Parishad) at her official residence Ganabhaban on Saturday (August 3).
She also expressed her wish to hold dialogue with the protesting students.
She also announced to cancel the proposed pension scheme for employees of public universities, autonomous institutions, and government entities from the same meeting.
