Three more children have died with measles-like symptoms in the past 24 hours, bringing the total number of deaths from measles and related symptoms to 750 since March 15 this year.
The Directorate General of Health Services (DGHS) disclosed the information in its regular measles report on Friday.
The report said that while three deaths were recorded from measles-like symptoms in the last 24 hours, no deaths from confirmed measles cases were reported during the same period.
During the same timeframe, 128 new confirmed measles cases were detected, while another 901 people showed measles-like symptoms.
According to DGHS data, the number of people affected by measles-like symptoms in the country has reached 109,899 since March 15.
