In a show of solidarity with minorities in Bangladesh, Congress MPs staged a protest in front of the Parliament building in New Delhi, calling for the protection of their lives and property.

The demonstration took place on Tuesday morning from 10:30 AM to 11:00 AM, led by Congress leader Priyanka Gandhi Vadra, who represents Wayanad, Kerala, in the Lok Sabha.

According to The Hindu, Priyanka had arrived at Parliament on Monday carrying a bag with a message of support for Palestine.

Today, she and other Congress members protested with bags displaying the words "Stand with Minorities of Bangladesh" in English, and "Stand with the Hindus and Christians of Bangladesh" in Hindi.

Throughout the protest, participants chanted slogans calling for justice. They also demanded answers from Prime Minister Narendra Modi, questioning why the central government has remained silent on the issue of protecting Bangladesh‍‍`s minorities.

Congress is clearly aiming to highlight its support not only for the oppressed in Palestine but also for minorities in Bangladesh.

The BJP has often accused Congress of only standing up for minorities in India. By protesting for Bangladesh‍‍`s minorities, Congress has now turned the focus on the government’s lack of action in this area.
