Police have arrested Mubarak Hossain, also known as David Imon, who is reportedly a top-listed criminal from Chattogram, in a joint operation carried out in Jashore.
The arrest took place late Tuesday night in the Dhumdhumpur area, where law enforcement members established a checkpoint following intelligence-based information.
Confirming the arrest, Jashore Superintendent of Police Syed Rafiqul Islam told the media, The operation was conducted jointly by the police from Jashore and Chattogram districts.
After the arrest, David Imon was handed over to the Chattogram District Police for further legal action, the police official said.
