Mohammad Abdur Rauf, Additional Project Director (Finance and Procurement) of Dhaka Mass Transit Development Project (line-5) has been appointed as the new managing director of the Dhaka Mass Transit Company Ltd (DMTCL), the operator of Dhaka`s popular Metrorail.
The Road Transport and Highways Division of the Road Transport and Bridges Ministry issued a notification in this regard on Monday.
It also cancelled the contractual appointment of MAN Siddique, former Managing Director of DMTCL.
The order will come into effect soon.
